4. Data Security
Online multiplayer uses peer-to-peer (P2P) technology. Game data is transmitted directly between players, not through our servers.
5. Children's Privacy
Cute Go is explicitly designed with child learners in mind, while remaining open to users of all ages. We take children's privacy seriously and maintain the following position:
- We collect no personal identifiers. We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, addresses, photos, or any other personally identifiable information from children (or any user). The site requires no account and offers no field for entering personal information.
- Parental supervision recommended. Although our content is suitable for children and we do not actively collect their data, we still recommend that parents browse alongside their children to help them understand the lessons and supervise the sharing of multiplayer room codes.
- Advertising. This site uses Google AdSense to display ads. Because the site is directed to child learners, we have marked it as child-directed and request only Non-Personalized Ads (NPA). Ads will not be personalized to a child's browsing interests, nor used for behavioral targeting. Parents may further adjust preferences at Google Ad Settings, or use a browser ad blocker (this does not affect site functionality).
- Third parties. Data processing by Google Analytics and Google AdSense is governed by Google's own privacy policies (which include child-protection provisions); see the links in Section 3 above.
- Children's data requests. If you are a parent and discover that we have inadvertently collected personal data from a child under 13 in any form, please notify us immediately at the contact email in Section 8 below. We will delete it promptly upon verification.
